Hi John
I was wondering what plugins/templates do you recommend when it comes to creating an online store? If I want to sell more than one album, digital or physical, offer merchandise etc... all on the same page.
I tried creating a page using the code you shared in the Selling Physical Products lesson, but it doesn't look well if I add lots of items to the page.
Would you recommend something like Shopify or Woo Commerce? Or updating to a Wordpress theme that has store templates? Or non of the above?
Thanks
Gadi
Hi Gadi,
If I was going to create a store, I would just create a store category, and then create posts for each product. Then add the store category page to your nav bar. Works pretty well for exactly that. But if you were unhappy with that, you could add something like shopify, which many students do.

So basically a similar layout as you have in the "tips & tricks" category? If I engage the store category all the posts will automatically be displayed in a drop down window same as Facebook, AWeber, Advertising etc appears?
Basically yes. The tips and tricks link in the nav is a category feed, and if you click on that you see all of the posts within that category. The drop down is something different. The drop down is created manually in the menus section of the customizer. I created a sub page below the category link and created a category link for each sub category. That make sense?

I think so
I'll mess with a bit and let you know if it works or if I have any more question.
Thanks John
Sounds good!
