Hi All,

Can anyone answer this question for me?

Do I need to buy a new domain and build a new website for each new squeeze page??

Thanks

Lisa

Hi Lisa,

You just need one URL with a squeeze page on the home page. Then you can create duplicates of your squeeze page as interior pages when you want to create more targeted squeeze pages for certain types of traffic, or separate things out for tracking purposes.

The reason you want a squeeze page on the home page is just so you don't lose those people that remove the extension to see if they can get more info on the home page. The squeeze page may not be an exact duplicate on the home page, but the basic purpose will still be served. Just make sure you set any duplicate pages as "no-index, no follow" as Google doesn't like duplicate content on the same page.

Short answer, you will more than likely create multiple squeeze pages over time, but you only need one domain.

I have a question about that. I only have one site and I'm writting blog posts. I'm curious about where to send people for my music and other posts once they're in the funnel. Do I have to creat another site? I only have one domain right now.

Hey Terry, I'm not positive I'm understanding your question... The flow should go something like this... You drive traffic to a squeeze page. Once people sign up you use the first message of your autoresponder series to deliver the free track. Once on your list you send people to more content to build up that interest. That content could be housed on the same domain using a blog template, or it could be a completely different site if you wanted it to be for any reason. You would eventually send them to a sales page where they could order your music. That page would usually be an interior page of the same domain that housed your squeeze page. Once they ordered you would have them sign up to a customer list (or do this automatically with the aweber/Paypal integration option), and you would deliver the music they purchased via the first email of the autoresponder connected to the customer list.

Hope that makes sense.

I guees I need to design the site in such a way that when you visit the Privacy policy page, you won't be able to navigate to other parts of the site negating the purpose of the squeeze page.

I'm not sure I'm following this either. The privacy policy is just something you want to have in your footer to help with consumer trust and allow you to advertise as most ad networks require it. But there is no need for concern that people will navigate away from your privacy policy. if you have concerns about design just post the link and let me know what your concern is. Cheers.

Hey Terry, there is no screen shot attached. Just FYI, there are two steps to adding a screen shot. You need to upload the file, and then click "start upload". I'm guessing you missed the second step. I used to do that all the time myself.
