Hey John, I can’t figure out how to edit the email signup form on my squeeze page. When I go to the Appearance tab on the left side of Wordpress and I select Widgets, I see on the far right a dropdown box that says Main Sidebar, and then beneath that it says Text (see screen shot) and when I edit this, it changes the email signup form on all of my pages EXCEPT my squeeze page. So I’m confused. I want to change the text on my email signup form as well as the download button graphic on my squeeze page. Please help, thanks!
Hi Stuart,
That is because there are two places to add the aweber code. For blog posts, and default pages, you add the code to the widget (as you have done). But for actual squeeze pages you add the code to the custom code fields. This is so you can track conversions and tag incoming subscribers independently. You'll find instructions in the MMM course material.
