Hi. I've been using iThemes Security to protect my site from attacks (and judging by the reports the plugin is sending me it's been stopping quite a few of them). It's now come to light, however, that it clashes with my payment gateway, which is obviously a problem. I can't really figure out how to make them work side by side, so I figured it would be simpler to try to find a different one.

So, can anybody recommend a good security plugin? Preferably free, or at least cheap...

Cheers.

I use Wordfence and love it. It's free but they have a paid upgrade I use the free one and it does everything I need.

Awesome. I'll give that a try and see if it works better with the payment gateway.

No prob. It's a great plugin. Be sure to add your email for alerts and maybe go through the settings. I have mine set to the max sensitivity. Gets the odd false positive but works great.
