I know that the H1 tag is super important on a web page, but for a documentary (yes, documentary - not music) whose title is "A Zest for Life" and whose subtitle is "Afro-Peruvian Rhythms," would you suggest an H1 tag on the home page of "A Zest for Life Documentary," or "A Zest for Life: Afro-Peruvian Rhythms"?
Hi Eve,
Steve here. If the primary keywords are "Afro-Peruvian Rhythms", or "Peruvian Rhythms", then by all means make the whole title, "A Zest for Life: Afro-Peruvian Rhythms" as an H1.
That way it is recognized as being most important, but it will also include the documentary's name itself, for people who are actively searching for it by title.

Hi Eve,
As Steve touched on The only real consideration with an H1 tag (aside from design) is the keyword that you are optomizing your site or page for. It's recommended that you get your primary keyword in the site title tag. No need to over think it beyond that. And thiis is only all that important when SEO is a focused part of your campaign.
