Hi, I'm not getting how to set up the "up sell" page. I want to have it pop up after a customer clicks on a buy now (PayPal) button. So if a customer clicks on my "2 for 1 bundle" pay now button or any product pay now button for that matter they get the up sell product page, then if they don't want it they can click the link at the button of the page taking them back to PayPal to buy the original product they wanted.

thanks,

Leroy

Hey Leroy,

Not exactly. There are different ways you can set things up. But if you are using the Paypal integration method then you would create a universal thank you page that would work no matter what they ordered. "Thanks, your order is complete, please check your inbox for the download link" Or whatever. The welcome email for each customer list would deliver the downloads. After ordering Paypal will communicate with Aweber and add them to the customer list, this delivering the downloads. So regardless of whether or not they click the order button or the no thanks button, they eventually get to the same place. You could make different pages if you want. Either way works.

That make sense?

Hi John and Steve,

I have yet to complete the Upsell step because I am trying to get someone from Fiverr to design a "virtual" box set for me from some digital album covers. I cannot get anyone to respond to mails on Fiverr... that's one issue. Might be slow for the holidays... but if you know someone who could do it (my idea is to create a product photo for the Upsell page with digipaks that look real) that would be great.

But, I am mainly curious about your comment above about the welcome email from a new customer list delivering the downloads. When a customer from my original list buys my LTO bundle, they get an email when being moved to that list, but when they buy the Upsell, I am confused how this works.

Does Aweber move them from list to list that quickly and send both emails? Can you break it down step by step? It seems that it could easily be set up wrong so that the customer only gets the Upsell download and not the original Bundle download. I will watch the videos again but I'm a bit confused.

Thanks!

Hi John,

If you ordered something on Fiverr and they have not delivered by the completion date, just cancel the gig and use someone else. If you want to pay more but get better quality you could reach out to @scottjames - He'll do a great job for you if he's available.

As far as the aweber order/upsell process goes... I think you have it right.

A person buys, gets added to your customer list and and email goes out instantly. You set up automation rules so that this new customer is removed from the general prospect list when added to the customer list.

Then they review your upsell offer, buy that and an email goes out instantly. You set up automation rules so that this new upsell customer is removed from the primary customer list when added to the upsell customer list.

Test it, but it should all work without issue. The slight delay is enough time to trigger everything.
