In the post HERE, I re-posted John's instructions on how to put a squeeze page on your facebook page. I also showed you how to install an eye-catching red "free download" button that takes a visitor right to that squeeze page.
In the post HERE, I showed you a simple way of referencing your main squeeze page so you don't have to futz around with coding in the "static html" app. The only issue is...your main squeeze page probably doesn't fit nicely, and so a visitor will have to do some scrolling.
I promised you I would make a revised page that fits better than a typical squeeze page. Well, I did that. Mine looks like THIS. It's a squeeze page that has smaller dimensions that I host on my server. I reference that page in the "static html" app.
You can download mine to use as a template. I have the files uploaded and zipped HERE. If you were able to use SeaMonkey to get John's original template (remember MMM 2.0?) working for you, this should be reasonably straight-forward. The key thing is probably just to look at the dimensions of the banner and photo, and do likewise when you create your own banner and import your photo.
Unfortunately, I really have to give this to you "as is" and not offer any support. I can maybe answer a few questions, but I am not a web guy! I hope you understand! I'm like the rest of you folks who have just enough knowledge to get by. What takes me hours and hours can probably be done by someone like Scott in 15 minutes to a half hour.
I hope this helps someone.
Thanks Charley for putting all teh time into sharing this. Really awesome.
