Has anyone else experienced an issue with YouTube links on the Wordpress site not playing on their mobile device?
I've tried it different ways with just posting the YouTube link on the page: http://www.kaedynkashmir.com/m.....s-darling/
Or doing the full YouTube Embed: http://www.kaedynkashmir.com/k.....-official/
Works fine on a desktop, but on my iPhone I can't get the link to play. It will load the video and you can even move around the timeline of the video but it won't actually play. Tried both from the Facebook app or just going directly to the WordPress page from Safari and Chrome on my mobile. Frustrated since most people are using mobile these days so I want to make sure this is working.
Hey Derek,
My apologies for the slow response. I've been largely offline for the holidays. Just getting back to work now. My iPhone is updating as I write this so I couldn't check on my phone, but I checked it on my iPad and the video was playing fine for me.
One unrelated thing I noticed is that the button on your opt-in form says "order now" rather than "download now", or something similar. That's definitely going to scare off some would-be subscribers 🙂

Thanks John! I'll make that change. Any thoughts on why the video links aren't playing from an iPhone on the examples above?
Hi Derek,
Steve here. I've left a note for John to try on his iPhone again for you. I checked on my Android phone, and the video plays just fine
Hang tight, until John can get back to you.
Thanks!
P.S. - This comment may appear differently than any email notification you received because I've edited it. I had mistakenly typed the wrong url into my device on first go round.
Hi Steve. I'm happy to report whatever was going on is now working. Weird. I tried this on three different iPhones and none of them worked. But today I tried again and it's working. Maybe someone broke the Internet. 🙂 Thanks for your help and also the heads up about having the wrong button on my blog page! Cheers
Glad you got it sorted. Sounds like it was just a temporary bug with either your ISP or your phone. Usually Youtube video are pretty flawless when it comes to working on any and all sites/devices. Let us know if you continue to see any issues.
