Managing Your Social Media Accounts With Buffer App
As musicians, most of us are pretty active when it comes to social media. While I think there are a lot of misunderstandings about social media and it’s proper place in the grand scheme of a sales funnel, I do think that it is a great tool for reinforcing your relationship with your fans.
With that said, it’s sometimes hard to find time to stay on top of all of those different accounts. Worse still is the fact that many of us find ourselves wondering just what the heck we should be tweeting about in the first place.
Well, I’ve found a new tool that promises to help with that. It’s called Buffer, (or Buffer App), and I’ve put together a video to show you what it is, how it works, and most importantly how it can help YOU save time and ultimately connect with your fans in a deeper, more meaningful way.

He Peter, Great applications and thanks for sharing. One question i have tried the contact manager on a Vista ultimate computer and the search and drag and drop does not work. Works fine on a XP computer. I tried the source and got the same results when I create my own AIR application. Any Ideas?

Also, they should definitely ban programming GPS devices or, for those of us who are old-school, reading maps. Those are both extremely dangerous activities that involve driving without eyes. The cutest girl, really smart and sweet too (especially amazing bearing in mind her pre-Bodyrock history) and her workouts are intense 10-20min sessions that work wonders.Good luck

I agree with your point about Katherine Reimer. She made no sense to me toward the end. I got that she was supposed to have a thing for Jackman, and that she basically was supposed to be the woman for Jekyll whereas Claire brought out his Hyde (and also loved his Jekyll, but she always seemed more free-spirited, etc). But she came across as useless as the show went on. We had little to no characterization. One of the great weaknesses of the series, I think.

No, it only sends one tweet and one Facebook post out for each item you add. You can also de-select one of your profiles if for any reason you only wanted to send something out via Facebook, for example. The 4 to Twitter and 2 to Facebook post ration is just the default for how many items you would have post each day. You can change that as well and make it more, or less.
The idea is that you cruise the net like you normally do with the buffer app browser add on installed. When you find something you like you press the buffer button and the item is added to your queue to go out at the next scheduled interview. You can also add custom tweets and posts of course. You can even email in your buffer messages. It’s really simple. You’ll get it after 2 minutes of laying with it. Enjoy 🙂

Hi John, I recently heard about Buffer as well – but they didn’t go into as much detail as you did. I also thought the ten post ‘buffer’ was a bit of a limitation – but after seeing that you’re getting by fine with the free version I’m rethinking my opinion.
I don’t do a heck of a lot of Tweets and Facebook updates at the moment but now I’m ready when I do.
Yeah. when I thought it was 10 per month I thought the free account was too limited. But it’s actually 10 in the system at any given time. Which is enough for me. I might upgrade at some point anyway though, just so I can add more than 2 profiles. But for now, I’m just using the free account.
