You’ve probably heard all the horror stories of bands being signed and promised the world, only to be dropped a few months after their album is released with no notice – and certainly no apologies – from the label. Unfortunately, my experience was not much different.
Bottom line: My albums didn’t sell enough copies to satisfy the label, and I was dropped. And honestly, it was brutal.
Disheartened and rapidly running low on finances, I decided to put music on the back burner and focus on paying some bills. Completely uninterested in getting a “day job”, I started exploring the world of online marketing.
It didn’t happen overnight, but after a few years of hard work and thousands of dollars in training, I finally “cracked the code” so to speak and began pulling in some serious money using nothing but the internet.
In fact my very first online business generated nearly $2,000,000 in sales within just a few years.

With my finances in order, I shifted my focus back to music and began crafting a strategy for selling albums – both for myself and for other artists – using many of the same techniques I employed in my online business.
Long story short, it worked and it worked well.
In fact, over the last few years I have helped numerous artists climb to the top of various Billboard, iTunes, Amazon, Barns & Noble, and CD Baby charts. I helped one artist set CD Baby’s all-time single-day sales record, and helped another get nominated for a Grammy.
